M.J. Wright is located on South Great George’s Street and is spread across four distinctive floors. Walk through the traditional Irish pub on the ground floor, where we serve our pub classic menu, past the sung and make your way upstairs where the pub extends to more space for dining and drinking in a relaxed and cosy setting.

On the 1st floor, the Eating Rooms (open Thursday – Saturday evening from 5pm) offers an intimate and relaxed space for dining. Serving celebrated dishes cooked by our talented chef Adrian Dragoman — Toonsbridge Burrata & Hairloom Tomato, Crab Spring Rolls, 10oz Dry-Aged Ribeye, and finish with a passion-fruit Crème Brûlée.

For lazy dinners with friends, date nights, and special occasions book your next evening with us.

Our menu is also available in our pub and cellar bar all week from 12pm.

The Second Floor private space has incredible views of Exchequer Street and it’s own private bar making it the perfect setting for corporate events, weddings, birthday celebrations, engagement parties, networking events, and special occasions of every kind. Hire a private dining room on the 1st Floor – our intimate wood panelled rooms provide a warm and exclusive atmosphere, ideal for private dinners, business lunches, family celebrations, and client entertaining. Larger groups can also enjoy exclusive use of the full dining space complete with its own private bar.

The main pub and cellar bar can be booked for a range of events including Cellar Bar parties, Tour Groups and Live Music Nights.

Downstairs in our ground floor, you can enjoy daily live music from local artists as you relax with a pint and some delicious food. Whether you’re in the mood for some familiar favourites to sing along to, or want to enjoy some new music, we’ve got something for everyone.
